Okay I’ll admit, I did not read through every post of the last 110 pages, but I did skim through, catching the highlights and the build progress.
Love the truck and love the dialog, funny funny funny stuff. Can’t wait to see your rig rollin on its own. You’ve definitely put a lot of hard work into it and your flat bed even gave me some ideas on how to repair my rusted out quarters. Just hope my fabrication skills will be even a fraction of this quality.

Lol thanks man! I really appreciate that! My skills really need some work, but the biggest issue is patience. I do a lot better work when I don’t rush things. I started reading through this thread again a few weeks ago and got a lot of laughs out of it. I can’t wait to get it put together! It’s going on three years and has definitely snowballed into more of a build than I planned on. I was going for a mild daily driver/trailworthy rig, but now I’m way past that point. Really hoping for decent road manners, and for everything to work good on the trail.
@obijuank5 hooked me up with a carrier, so hopefully I’ll be able to get back on this before I run out of days off. I was worried that it was going to be the wrong one, because I had a dream the other night that it was some funky carrier with one bearing and no way to unbolt the two halves. Lol scary stuff.
I have had that type of dream before too lol.

As the title says... bout to give a good push on this one. I have about $1200.00 in parts that I need/want to buy, and then I should be set. Just waiting for another 10 or 20% coupon to come up on eBay. In the mix of things I decided I’m just doing things right and throwing a Warn VR10 on here. I would love to go with synthetic cable, but I’ll have to upgrade later. Time is flying by and I need to get my sons rig started before he loses interest. So stay tuned!

Yep! It won’t be anything too extreme, but still a cool build. 14/60, 37s, 4” lift, 350, TH400, 205... Between parts I’m donating, and parts he had bought we should have about everything we need.

It’s an 81 C2500, but between this truck, an 83 C10, and a 76 K25 we are going to build a good one. I think I’ll start a build thread on it soon.
