77 K5 Just had to do it

I'd do at least this. When you take it over to the exhaust guy have him get it up in the air and give him the layout you would like best and get his take on the idea. He should be able to tell you what will easier or harder to build with your packaging.
I actually came to the same conclusion when I was laying under it tonight. It is a mom and pop shop and they do a lot of custom work on hot rods and classic cars.
The pics of Larry's exhaust look pretty labor intensive with all of those welds, bends and crossover tubes. If mine comes out looking that good I will be more then happy.

Just have the idea of how far that front shaft will go up, the rest your exhaust guy (mountain man?) will finger out

One from mine during the guy putting mine together. It's way tight even with 2.25" pipe.

@ZooMad75 That is tight, do you have a t-case brace installed?

You got two fuel filters?
I did. It was a way we adapted the Workhorse fuel lines to the stock TBI lines. We eliminated one last year when Larry worked out a better way to adapt the lines.

If you are talking about the strut rod that goes from the case forward, then no
Yes, that brace is one of the things that makes things so tight on my rig. On an L29-NV4500 application the factory runs single exhaust down the ds but I am sure someone has run duals with that brace installed. Because this had dual exhaust from the factory there is what looks like a factory heat shield in that area also.

Well, I'd run the brace and work around it if you can. Running 2.25 would make it easier to squeeze through there for sure. How's the clearance to the pass side clutch slave cylinder too?

The slave is just forward of the exhaust dump, the hyd line comes around and is about even with the exhaust exit. That is another thing that has been in the back of my mind but I assume it is no different then a factory L29/nv4500 GMT 400 truck as I used the stock bus manifolds that appear to be the same as the 400 series.

I got the interior put back together. Seat bases are a mix of stock brackets, 1"and 1/2" square stock, 1/4 flat bar and Ace Hardware caps.
I built a custom console with cup holders, CB mount and a bit of bling. I have to shop around for some USB/Aux power outlets to add to the console and the camper.

Not sure why the emblem looks crooked, it is straight I swear.

Excellent. I like it!
Thanks Rob, I am still struggling with the shifter boots however. I have tried 5 different boots on the t-case shifter and all of them distort the transmission boot when installed. If I had to do it over again I would move the t-case shifter back about 1". Larrys boots on the Polar Bear look good so I guess there is something I am not doing right.
