I actually came to the same conclusion when I was laying under it tonight. It is a mom and pop shop and they do a lot of custom work on hot rods and classic cars.I'd do at least this. When you take it over to the exhaust guy have him get it up in the air and give him the layout you would like best and get his take on the idea. He should be able to tell you what will easier or harder to build with your packaging.
The pics of Larry's exhaust look pretty labor intensive with all of those welds, bends and crossover tubes. If mine comes out looking that good I will be more then happy.
