77 The Black Truck "Ratbag"

another epic night in Dan's barn.....and trailer! LOL

Back to the Ratbag... Classic CK5 Derailment :waytogo:

I told Colby to go grab the black truck. I wanted to use it to move some scaffolding from the back shed to the main barn so we could change a light bulb. It takes 5 sections to reach it, that is the one bulb that our boom lift can’t reach without a lot of hassle. Anyways... He drives the truck over to me and I noticed something I haven’t seen in two years.

The windshield wipers are now magically working! WTF!???

I neglect it and it fixes it self! Who knows how cool It could be be after a few more years of doing nothing with it!? :dunno: :haha:

Sorry for the Mopar hijack Dean!

i'll start another thread soon I think.

I think i worded that wrong and sounded like a dink. :doah: I like the derailment, it’s entertaining and kind of explanes what we get ourselves into when we get together. Drinking, guns and Trucks! Or in your case this time buying a sweet old car from buddy Dan! Always fun! And funny too! :haha:

I don’t think that thought process is going to work on you circular saw cord. Lol

Cool to hear about your wipers tho. :)

Hey I fixed that cord last year! :D But I wore out that blade cutting aluminum garage door panels! Lol!

I didn't take it that way Dean. It does need it's own thread...unfortunately there is nothing new, and it isn't at my house yet so no real point starting anything.

Always a good time at your place! As for buying the car, I don't think Deb was even surprised. She's a great gal, but I think her Dad got her used to the old car buying fun. Up until he passed away he could have anywhere from two to six cars in his garage and would often show up with new ones randomly. I like to think he paved the way for me. :haha:

My Dad was the same way different truck every 6 months. I started collecting vehicles when I was 15 I had so many over the years my mom and dad wouldn’t even question it after the first ten! Got to a point I would even say anything just drag it home. Lol!

WTF is 30 cm? Looks like 1"-2" to me. You guys dive right into this winter crap. It's barely October.

Rene texted me this morning. The forecast was for a foot of snow. Thankfully for us it’s was east and west of our place. It’s warm enough to not accumulate to much here. Been snowing for two days again. Real bad timing for the crops this fall.

Yeah that sucks to get snow this early if you are still harvesting. My buddy in WI has the opposite problem and they have been getting a ton of rain.

Calgary has had a foot in the last 24 hours. Edmonton sent a bunch of our plows down there to try and help them dig out...and it's still snowing there. I imagine the farmers in that area are hurting.

I was hearing on the news that farms up here are only averaging about 12% of their crops in so far. It's been so wet and cold...we need a couple of weeks of warm and dry now.

We have poured concrete at the end of september in plus 30c a few years ago.... Canada for ya EH!

The weather guesser on the boob tube was saying last year on this date it was 26C

The 7 day looks sucky nonetheless.
