77 The Black Truck "Ratbag"

I`ve had this truck for 7 years...nothing special just a bunch of trucks made into one. Cost me almost nothing so far.

But i just made a deal with Rene over the weekend for his 454 that he has been storing at my place...things will Slowly get allot more interesting.

The first pic is how it looked when I got it for free from my neighbor.
The second is more or less how it looks now.

Plans are BB 64s 52s shackle flip 35s and Have fun!

Ratbag....thats fawesomer!

And round headlights rock Dean....

A BBC huh? badass man, lets work on it in August!

Any lines on those axles?

Oh yeah buddy! I need to collect a bunch of parts but I'm excited!
I want to recreate the 78 Short box I built over 20 years ago. I had it when I first met Kris.:thumb:

Well Dean, I don't think you understand how this works....you have a build thread, and unless it is already finished (never happens) then you must build your truck to the standards of the masses! We get to live vicariously through your work and $$$$.!

Ok, now about that Big Block....

now yer talking....how did the 12 and 44 like that?

Scattered the 12 bolt all over the road once... blew up the pressure plate once too! :haha: The d44 in the front never gave me any problems.

I was thinking about that race when I offered Dean a deal he couldn't refuse on the 454. He got the 781 heads with it too...should scoot quite nicely depending on which cam and stuff he goes with.

I figure about 800 ftlbs to the rear wheels should do... As long as my clutch holds :haha:I'll have to skip a few gears, and re-gear to 4.56 so I get a little bit more speed out of each gear, lol

Screw you Dean! 1000s of dollars just to make sure I can beat you in a field drag race :doah:

Maybe we should chuck a 150 shot on that BBC while you're not looking Russ...

"...and the next event will be the Clive cornfield drags. For first time spectators...there are no rules."

FTW....thats awesome Rene':pimp:

:eek1: OK guys... I`m thinking this might not be running in time for the september party.

Remember I said Slowly! :dunno: All depends on If I can find the parts needed for the swap...this truck has alway been built on the cheep/good deal "Thanks Rene!"

I need to talk to my uncle in B.C. he is a chevy parts hoarder. :thumb:
Also still nead those 3/4 ton axles I was talking about before.

Dave and Paul glad you guys like the name!
