77 The Black Truck "Ratbag"

A big change in our life has kept me quite on here since before Christmas.

My wife sold her shares in the dairy farm and we moved to a 26 acre property hour west of the farm.

Still busy getting organized. I’ll add more pics when I have time… for now I’ll add a few. With the first pic being Ratbag on the trailer going to our new home. And a couple from in our new to us shop.

Dang dude that's quite a life change. Hopefully all goes well for you guys. Glad you got a place with property that looks like it's set up pretty nice. Dairy farming is a super tough industry to try to survive in. We got rid of our small herd of beef cows last fall. Just didn't make sense money-wise to keep them and continue going upside-down farther.

We moved a hour west closer to the Rockies. It’s real close to Sylvan lake.

The place was set up for horses lots of corals and pasture. We still have our beef cows.
The property it super private and park like. I’ll get more pics and post them up.
-30c here right now and lots of snow.

I’m going to be inside organizing more. 25 years of crap is a lot to move and find places for. Thankfully there is more buildings and storage than we even know what to do with.

Starting to come together quickly now. Helps that we don’t have to watch the clock for the dariy cows.

Here is a few I took today.

First pic is two of our steers, we have three.

Second is some of our cows. We have seven.

Third is three calves, we have five. One is in the red barn. His mom was a bitch… we beefed her.

Forth is the front of the shop. It’s 30x40. Not huge but all mine and the hoist is 6500 kilograms.

Fifth is storage shed 30x100

Last one today is the hay shed.

Ratbag got all salty on the trailer to the new place. Been a few years since it had an actual wash with soap.
That’s about as shiny as it gets!
