Sweet article, I stand corrected. That should be a nice combo. :thumb:

Well. Things went dry. This is as far as it got.

Truck sat for almost 2 years... long enough to let the brand new tires with 0 miles on them to start dry cracking... My (now wife) got on my ass, so I sold the tires, and the seats (they were getting worse too.

I'm now on deployment AGAIN,and have her OK (more like her demanding) to finish this truck. New boggers will be ordered, with a magnum, 205, axel rebuilds, and the rest of the small parts to get the engine running again. I haven't decided if I will let my friends work on the truck while I am gone, or if I will just be collecting parts till I return at the end of this year. I have my list made, and I will start purchasing parts next month.
It is currently being housed in a friends barn,in order to save the tires that are on it now.

The strap and chain are currently holding up the transmission, as it has no crossmember in it.

Been a long time. life happens and things change. wich brings me to this.

Bought this doner for 700 bucks. runs and drives with 211,xxx on it. gonna swap the motor into my 04 with low oil pressure. then rebuild the 6.0 out of that,

This absolutley changes my plan of the 454 and 4-speed. I'll also be using the 4l80e. I know its stupid slow going, but because of my recent divorce and my current living situation, things should pick up real quick.

On a cool note in my book, I sold my 454, and got 200 bucks extra after buying this whole truck, ****in sweet.

yea... I've only had it for 5 years. LMAO.
I am really contemplating on building a flat bed/ utility bed on it and having more of a pickup use. I'm really not a fan of the dove tailed rear end in a blazer. I caught to much mud in the back of my head on my last one.
Anyone have any suggestions on that?
