Fair enough! I was thinking you had slipped the back off a ledge and peeled the plate off or something. That's pretty creative how you moved the whole tapered section inboard like that. Not much room for error.

When the decision was made to paint the blazer I found a nice straight Chevrolet tailgate to replace the GMC one. Thanks for noticing that detail. I thought that it would look nice and was a nice challenge.

Started mounting up the tires and wheels. This is just sitting in front of the fender.

Taking the rear axle out to finish off the welding and fit it with a truss over the top. I’m switching to an ARB diff in the rear as well.

Not much happening , life is way in the way right now. I did jump ship on my ole Suburban and replaced her with a GMT4000.

Put the tires on just to see the stance and give me something to look forward too. Ill be back working on this soon. Tires are at 20 psi and the specs are

I always forget about your headlight/grille conversion until it sneaks up on me in pics like that latest batch, it really looks good.
