'79 K5 Build for the PNW...(Pic Heavy)

Yeah, go with a t400 and 203 combo... I would go with a round pattern 205 with 32 spline input... That way the 203 shaft can be cut and splined for the 205 and you don't have to worry about a coupler like the 27 splines... Round pattern would come from behind a t400, don't know what years... I know the '88 crew cab had one that came stock in it...

You'll need the adapter for the 205, then source out the aluminum plate...

When you're ready to start working on the plate give me a call and we can go over everything... It'll be a lot easier to explain over the phone with you looking at the pics...

Round patterns are 85 and up I believe.

Awesome build, don't know how I missed this before. Looks like a lot of work, and your kids will love their skills down the road. I know my Dad taught me a lot when I was younger.

Thanks...

I haven't done anything to it for a while... Still haven't finished the doubler... A buddy and I are both building the same double set up and didn't have time to finish before last summer so we just ran our rigs with the 205s... Planned on getting them finished this winter but I got wrapped up in the bus build...

I went and bought a full size Jeep Cherokee for my daughters 18th B-Day and created another project to consume my time...:doah:

The boys have been helping a lot with the bus build and now the girl is getting involved because she wants to start driving the jeep...:haha:

Here's a pic of her wide track cherokee...

Odie is on his way with them right now... He called about 30 minutes ago to make sure I was awake... Should have pics shortly...

Picked up some weld on bead locks today at the 4x4 swap meet... Sold enough stuff at a profit that the 44s are almost free...

A buddy bought my 38.5 SXs... He should be real happy with them and they went to a good home... Sold my 38.5 TSLs also...

I might keep the 40" boggers and comp cut them for small tire runs...:D

Got to get the bead lock welded and wait for a buddy of mine to get the hardware for 'em...

Your build is SICK, and very inspiring!

I love the foot wells, and what you did with the rear tail light area.

Nice WORK!
