That truck probably has the best patina ever under the moss and cow crap. And being a '73 is worth many times what you paid to someone in an emissions area.
That poster model probably has some pretty awesome patina by now too.

pretty easy to build and very effective. The brace that you see on the un supported corner beside the driveshaft goes up to the dash bar system in this frame buggy thing because hitting that corner causes flex problems when you mount the trans adapter foot and the Doubler/Magnum foot. Hard to do in a full body vehicle but good to think about.

You can tell we combat the problems with flexing or bending crossmembers by only mounting to one crossmember so if it gets pushed up the drivetrain can survive by pivoting around the motor mounts. If you have the cases mounted to multiple crossbars and one bends you break stuff.
Be very careful about over constraining the transfer case system. You'll break more stuff with mounts that are too stiff than the other way around.
