I can work on that. Best I can do is of one transplated in Kevins Tow Rig which is an 80s crew cab.

Hows this work with the factory power steering and AC, is it just "bolt on" or does it require some mods?

Power steering should jus tbe a matter if getting fittings or using lines that match your box and this pump. IIRC and depending on year of your box you should be able to run stock lines. I can double check on this.
The AC I dont know for sure if it will bolt up. Might have to get custom lines made. You will have to convert to 134a if your truck is not currently.

AC is going to be r12. You would have to convert the system to 134a.

Power steering should be oring fittings. Let me check into something.

Iv got a 82 pump and im not sure what my ac is, its 1982 factory.

Spoke with Kevin. Well mor elike he is right next to me. The picture is of an 83 truck with the 8.1. The power steering pump is new on this 8.1 and will bolt up to your box.

This will also bolt in place of any factory sbc/bbc. You dont have to do motor mounts and crossmembers like you do with other vortec motors.

Same bellhousing bolt pattern as all the other gm trannies. Might have to get a different flywheel/flexplate.

That's my dream engine. All it needs is a SUPACHAGA! :D

If I get some trucks/ junk sold, I might take it off your hands.

Why you parting with it anyway?

How much do they weigh?

Buddy owns a shop, specializes in them. Pretty much always has 5.3s or 6.0s, but doesnt get these as much so he wanted me to help him sell it.

Pacific Fab - Kevin, right? I talked to him for quite a while on the phone once about the 6.0. I was looking at using a Vortec 454 and he talked me out of it. Heck of a nice guy. I'm gonna stick with the TBI 5.7 until I get some $ for some serious motor. Then, of course I'll be looking for rockwells....jeez.

Yeah, Kevin.

This would be a great tow rig motor. Awesome Torque, but not high RPM for flogging it. Thats prob why he talked you out of it. Me personally, I love my BBC in my wheeler.

I do mostly rocks and dirt, but theres dunes mixed in them down here at Superstition. The 350 is gonna have a hard time with the 46"s.
