I am now way behind the curve on work in relation to parts. I've got a pile of parts & not enough time.

Story of my life....

and I picked up the same press, it's worked well on the few projects I've used it for so far. I'd say add some wheels like I did but it might roll out of your garage :haha:

FYI, a 90 fitting will not fit a heat sink type power steering cooler. The 90 comes around after a couple threads & hits the mounting bracket.

image.jpg image.jpg I did not like the way I had my Ram mounted. I cut it back off the differential & mounted it to the axle tube. It fits in nice behind the tie Rod. Seems to have good clearance lock to lock. It does not look near as cool there & it's a shame to hide such a nice peice but..... Now my heim ends are on the same plane as each other. Also bolted up the steering box brace from Offroad Design. Fit was good. As stated above the 90 degree fittings I got here local at Speedway Motors would not work with my cooler so tomorrow I will exchange them for 45's. I cut a series of holes in the radiator support to give the cooler a bit mor air flow. I do not want to have to replace Hydro assist parts for a long time!

Hmmm, I have clearance but... After looking at this picture I think I may cut the brackets off the tie Rod clamp also & shorten them by a 1/4". It will do 2 things. Give me a bit more clearance on that U-bolt & lesson the leverage that bracket has on the tie Rod.

Sounds like a good idea.

Painted some parts. Hydro boost booster & master showed today. The master looks like a vacuume master to me? Cut my tabs back off the tie Rod clamp & cut about 1/2" off them then re welded. I think it will be better this way. Speedway did not have 45 degree fittings to fit my steering cooler. I may mount it in front of the rad support & try to hide its shiny ass behind the emblem bar mounted horizontal. Not sure yet. I've got 4 nut serts invested in its current location but don't know how sharp of a bend I want to try & make with a rubber hose. Let's know what you think on this master. The thread about hydroboost I read makes me think it is for a vac system.

Burnt in the ram mount. Shortened tie Rod tabs. I don't care for all of the balljoint twist but I think it's a non issue. Just seems weird to have the tie Rod & ram twist quite that much.

:frown1: Yup. Went to swap my new from Parts Geek hydro master cylinder & booster in. First thing the booster does not come with the mounting plate. No biggie I'll just use the one off the old cylinder..... Not! The old nut is welded onto the booster. I'll get it off but it is going to be an unexpected pain in the ass. Next the pushrod between my booster & master does not fit my new stuff. It's way to long. I'll be able to shorten it but I have to make damn sure I get it right.

Does anyone know the correct lenth for the newer style hydroboost to master pushrod???!!!

Hydroboost is giving me fits! Nothing has been compatable. I'm learning though. Ordered DIY4x front spring plates. Going to go ahaid & move the front axle an 1&1/2 forward. Got one FUSH installed. Will wait to do the other one till I have the spring plates. Shed is kind of a shot show now. The guy roofing it is leaving his tools in there over night & there is NO room to move.

This is how my hydro steer resivore ended up welded & painted. The alternator bracket in this year of truck gave me a great place to build off of. In the PSE directions they tell you to keep the feed hose as short as possible & above the pump. I think this fits both of those criteria!

I think you can get rid of the rear A/C lines not sure they are doing much.. Don't know what rod fits the hydro boost I left mine vacuum.

AhhhHaa!!! I think I just figured out my rear outboard shock mounts!!! It's borderline genius. I'd tell you about it but then I would have to kill you.

I think my spring plates, along with there being slightly bigger than stock & offset on my spring have flattened out my spring a tad.
