Yes. This really is mostly cosmetic damage. It will work just fine. My real concern is it looked bent. But, I did not verify, ran out of time. Also the axle tubes are full of bad stuff that would indicate my gears have been chewing up bad stuff. I was already intertaining a 14bolt. Just had not found one yet. I even ordered 2 sets of axle brackets with my traction bar kit from ORD.

Wow..... So are you going to be carrying over all the lift and other stuff to this one?

Awesome build, ive seen this in a couple nebraska facebook groups, didnt know you had a build thread on here.

Why not there bad ass! If i could of found one instead on my K5 in decent running shape as the K5 I would of got it instead. Easier to put kids in and solves my crew cab want and any truck.

Found a 14bolt lastnight. Dana 70HD is going away. Hey, look at the bright side, it's not like I just bought wheel spacers, disk brake brackets, traction bar brackets & spring perches...... Doha! Yea I did! But of course the rest of my disk brake kit will swap, I ordered traction bar brackets for a 14bolt also when I bought my traction bar stuff. In anticipation of this. Recon I can sell the spacers, I did not want to have to use them anyway. I could cut my spring perches off but I think I'll order new ones. The 70 has 4" tubes & they would not fit without a bunch of work. I think after a lot of driveshaft research that I am going to just have a 10 spline shaft & yolk added to my current shaft. I'll clearance my CV myself & call it good. This is not going to be a speed demon & the AG shaft will match my welded diffs. I can upgrade as cash frees up. My compromises for this first wheeling season will be as follows.
Welded front & rear diffs
16.5" heavy as balls H1's
Non highway friendly bias TSL's
Heavy AG front shaft
I do want to finish building this pig into something I could drive out to Colorado, not trailer.

One step forward, two steps back. I need this thing out of the shed like a month ago. Dana 70 out, hope to pick up the 14 bolt this week yet. It needs to be trouble free & with an open carrier. Ruff Stuff is letting me exchange my disk conversion brackets for the 14 bolt ones, solid of them considering I painted the brackets already.

At one time I slid under this truck & ID'd the transfer case as a 205. Since I broke my shifter the other day I was going to take it off & fix it. May be even order a twin stick. Anyway as soon as I looked at the case this time I knew I must have been wrong. This is a 203. All this time looking for a 203 to build a doubler & I have one. Turns out I'm looking for a 205. Doha!!!
