Got some cool GPS stuff coming. Going to run a I-pad with multiple map & gps apps installed. Also will download Nationa Geographic topos for areas that I plan to visit. Have a 128G coming so I hope it will hold a few maps. In time I'll build a center counsel but for now I'll run the factory plastic one. iPad in a rugged case mounted in a RAM mount on a pedestal. Not at all nessasary... But the cool factor will be high.

I’m running an IPad on a ram mount in the service truck and it’s excellent. Nice to be able to just reach over and run the touch screen on the fly.
I'll take a pair of those boxes you built around your shocks. Mine are still open and just have some old towels and stuff put over them to keep dust out and heat in.
If I had to do it again I'd buy a couple old, large ammo boxes & cut them up to fit rather than Fab them out of sheet.
Good idea. I need to keep an eye out for something to fit mine. I think they are close to what you got but I haven't finish trimmed them yet. I just cut what I thought I needed with the plasma to get them in.
0300 wake up for some thrashing on 8low before the kido wakes up. Went out & cut the bumper off the Yellow mud truck yesterday. Putting some wings on my winch mount with it. Figured I had might as well finish up my fender while I was there with a welder. Also got the back of the cab pieces fitted & tacked into place.

Alot of people don't know you have to do that to a 14ff when it's dead empty. Ends up being quite low if you don't.
I found out the hard way when I was 18. My first mechanic job at a construction company. Had a service truck apart for brakes and put it all back together. Topped off the oil at the fill plug and sent it. It came back on a wrecker 2 hrs later seized up like a mofo! What a lesson learned. I was so embarrased.
Uggg. Still have a wobble after changing the rear hubs & balencing the wheels & tires. I need hub centric wheels with real radial tires.
This is why no one runs recentered H1's on street driven trucks! Stupid wheel places offering wheel & tire financing might get me. Daughter & I went for a drive yesterday. Truck ran good but the fuel pump, O2 sensor & Y-pipe mods did not give me 400hp. It does run good but to say there is a noticeable difference....

Just as I plan to trade my Eagle Alloys for recentered H1s.
I just think the 2 peice wheels & PVC inserts may be too many parts. Also, in my case. I ordered my inserts for a Super Swamper bead then switched to the BFG tires. My PVC' may be moving around in there slightly causing my intermintant in balence. All I know is that I'm tired of it.
