8 lug 10 bolt

im almost for certain they are newer gears or the truck this axle came out of barely every moved or it had the worlds bet owner hahahaha

Ah.

Strange that someone regeared it to 4.56's but kept it stock height.

well with new bearings seals grease and wheel studs it will total about a 90 dollar investment into swaping from 6 lug to 8 lug. i sold the 4.56 gears for 50 bucks so i subtract that from the cost.

pretty good deal i think

just upgraded my front axle to a 8 lug axle now im already tryin to find a dana 60 at a deal even thow i dont have money for it right now hhahaha when will it ever end.

asked my buddy about those tires and he doent want to sell them right now

No biggie, just found out I need at least an IP and fuel pump on my engine. No tire money anymore.
Keep me in mind though.
MIGHT be looking for some cheap 6 lug 15x8 Rally's or whatever though. Cheap being free or near.

Know any good exhaust shops? Getting a 3" single exhaust soon.

there is a exhaust pro in georegtown, about 30 minutes north of you. i have some 15x10's that use to be chrome but they have rust on them now. 50 bucks for all four but they are useless to me now.

Do they weld? Haven't looked too much around here but figure I might as well ask for recommendations.

Eh, I'm looking for 15x8's. Won't be running a tire that wide. Thanks though.

Yeah, that's about what I'm getting. Everyone knows a shop...no one really knows of a good shop that does mandrel bending, custom work, welds, etc.

yea i know what you mean about that.

i usually just buy a couple of u bends and try to go about it myself but im not to particular about my exhaust as long as it stays on haha

Me either but since I'm starting from scratch I figure I'll try and do it right. Getting the exhaust 75% setup already though.

haha cool your pretty far along then. i cant wait until i get to the exhaust phase of my truck, that means it will officially be running

Well, mine has plenty of issues but this was too good a deal to pass up. Y pipe, 3" exhaust mandrel bent, Flowmaster Super 44, and just needing to be hung, welded up, and a few feet or so of pipe to fix the gasser to diesel differences.

dang that sounds like a pretty solid setup. im wondering if i should try to put a x pipe or h pipe on my truck when i get to the exhaust

I prefer a wide single so I never looked into it much. I think it was DieselWarrior had a discussion on here a while back about the pros and cons of H pipes, crossovers, etc.

yea ill have to check it out, ive heard it increases low end torque alittle but idk right now i may just run a single exhaust with a y pipe

yea if i run true duals i was planning on running 3'' all the way back, but yea a single 3'' back with a y pipe will be easier
