Got the 454 in. Kinda hurts looking back at how clean this truck was. It turns heads now though and I love it!

It's coming to a sad part in my blazers life. I'm headed off to college and my dad wont let me take it with me atleast for the first semester. I'm headed of to college station and they have a sweet offroad club (Aggie offroad) I think a member is on ck5 actually. So the blazer shall sit for atleast the first semester :(.

Here are some summer fun shots

and here she is today getting ready to have her final work time. Putting doors and top back on. Touching up paint. Installing thermostat for the electric fans. Fixed tailgate from not unlatching. Fixed hole in tranny dipstick.

Sorry the bus got in the way :p: . Not quite done working on her, when I am I'll throw on some after shots. I've come along way in my life and knowledge of vehicles in general and my blazer has grown on me so much. It's my most prized possesion. I've paid for everything with no help from the parentals, and done all the work myself (with neighbors help). BUILT NOT BOUGHT. I appreciate all the help and advice I get here and never feel bad about throwing down $25 when the time comes around.

I'm having to sell my 14BFF because I ran out of time and money to get the full swap done.

It doesnt have to be hacked or drastic cutting, but you will have to lose the rea part of the front fender, and as I mentioned above if you move the front axle forward it will help with the rubbing too, but then you have to cut under the park light as well.

Here is mine with the front axle 2.5" forward and ~5" of lift with 37's. They dont rub except maybe at full stuff when I'm turned. Before the axle was 1" forward they just rubbed on the inner fender.

just curious the 2.5" forward your axle is, is thet from zero rates and 52' front spring swap. also thats a good build on that truck, if you guys havent read it take a look at it

I'm looking at getting a lift. I was curious if I get a shackle flip and suspension lift, will it still work if I swap axles down the road?
