Nice! I just got the 8.1 running in my V3500 a few weeks ago (pic below)!

So what are the specs of the whole drivetrain going to be? That looks like an 01-03 8.1 based on valve covers and the oil fill tube...did you do any upgrades to the motor, or stock? Doing full stand alone harness? What tranny/tcase going behind this thing?

Yeah 02. Bone stock, i cut the stock harness down to standalone. Gonna get a basic tune, delete the torque management, etc. sm465/203/205 ford d60, shaved 14b rear 4.88s
