81 k5 LSX swap: haggard paint job

Dude if I had the brake at my house I'd make you a set! I was thinking about it earlier and I wondered if I bought a brake and started making these suckers would people actually buy them? I did make that one thread though that gave away the dimensions of the ones I made just to help folks out! But not everyone has easy access to a brake! I'm lucky.
Back in the day, before I changed professions and moved, I had access at work to one. I need to find some fab shops where I live now. I can't imagine it would be that expensive to put three bends in a piece of sheet metal. I think people would eat that up if someone made them. I would imagine it would even cost the same amount if not cheaper than these other panels.

The local fab shop around here was trying to get me for $75 for ONE. I even took them the old rocker for them to copy the dimensions. I quickly and politely declined

The hood came out looking like dogshit because these rustoleum cans suck too! The spray was inconsistent as all get out and most cans I had to hold up side down to paint with. All in all though I can't complain too much. And if I cared I wouldn't have spray painted it to begin with!

One door is on! It closes and latches, so I guess after the whole rocker panel replacement and door swap I didn't mess anything up too badly. The latch needs swapped with either the one from my old doors, or greased but I'll take it! Also, I'm debating on saying to hell with having electric windows and just going with manual crank instead. Less to mess up right?

Looking good! I'm worried about door fiitment on mine right now but the outer rocker looks like it's in the same spot but I'm kind of at the point of no return now. Haha!

I'm sure it'll be close enough. These trucks weren't perfect to begin with so I think any somewhat whole hearted attempt to fix them is better than Letting them rott.

Another new tan truck! Welcome to the 'Tan Truck Club - TTC®"
It's an honor and a privilege! I'd first like to thank the academy: those brave daring individuals that came before me, the brutal southern heat, my inability and lack of desire to do more than rattle can shit with bedliner and all of the crustinsss that had this rig 4 different colors and mostly you kind sir for the warm welcome! I'll do my best to ensure that our club is represented properly.
