If I built a truggy and scrapped the blazer I would use the 4bt with a compound setup (hx30/hx40) otherwise I have a couple 6.0/4l80/246 trucks that would make good donors
That would also be a fine setup.
And then I could use my high pinion Dana 60
Won't anything on the back of a 4L80 fit on an NV4500 with GM tailhousing? So you could use either tranny option.

It's because he's running a Cummins. Those inline engines don't have an angle to them like our V8s do, so they have to be offset to keep the gnomes happy. Unhappy gnomes get anxious and start chewing on gaskets. Things turn unhappy in a hurry if you don't keep the gnomes content.

Hahaha, it's because I have a breadvan adapter from the cummins to the th400 and they set the engines at an angle to clear the brake booster in the breadvans.
