84 Crew Cab - Project - "The Tank"

hII
Those are the seats I want to put in my Blazer. They look bitchen!:pimp:

Yeah I really like these. They fit my modified floor very well. They are comfy too and I think i got a good deal on them.

Anyone ever run 37's and 4 inches of lift? I am starting to think about keeping the truck a srw for now and run some hummer tires on it. Then once its running find some 16.5 dually wheels for the rear and make it a dually.

What if I installed some ez inch kits on the truck? Right now I don't really have anything done to the back cause I'm waitin for thr cummins to be in the truck so I don't have to much rake and I want to keep my one ton rear springs.

I think if you did a 1" bodylift and 1" zero rate set them 1/2" forward they may clear with minor trimming. thats a pretty good size tire

The one thing that will be in his benefit is that I doubt he is planning on flexing it very much.

Then maybe I'll just run the 33s I have now till I can afford to buy a 6 inch kit. The truck won't be doing any crazy offroad stuff. But I do plan on being able to take it off the road at times. Most of the places it will go really won't be much flexing. I'd hate to trim my fenders.

that may be your best bet, My V3500 has a 6" lift and I can get my 315-75-16 BFG MT KM2's to rub when its flexed out

My 4 inch springs kinda look like they are 6" compared to some people's pictures. My 4 inch shocks seem to only have like 2 or 3 inches of droop before they bottom out.

Well today I got my diy4x bushings for the front shackles. Looks like they will do just what I want and will really beef up the front some.

Boxing plate is just sat in there for mocking. I had to push the plate that goes around this bushing in a 1/4 of an inch to be able to weld the dom tube to it. So there will be a little lip right there instead of it being flush. Hoping to get those welded up some time this week and get the frame done.

That is my dad in the pic, he has been helping me with all of this. You can see my A frame in the pic that I extended 3 feet to make it be able to pick the cab up.

I have to say you did a really nice job on this floor hump. I've built a complete new floor to fit my Stak but it didnt come out this nice.
Nce Job!!:waytogo::waytogo:

Thanks man I appreciate it! I think I made it little to tall, but Im happy with it being as it was my first time really ever working with sheet metal. Going to have to fill the holes back in tho because the shifter is father back on the 4500.

No worries! Most of the time Im just learning from guys like you that are doing better work than I do! :waytogo:

Well im glad some people think the work I am doing is good:thumb:. Sometimes I look at what ive done :doah:but I think im doing pretty good too :haha:

I did decided to lower the motor into the frame to try to get an idea of what kind of room I have.

Looks like I will have quite a bit of room to work with. I plan on running two electric fans so I should have some room to play with.

Setting the motor in makes me want it running so bad :doah:but im getting excited :woot:

Dont know if I missed it but what motor are you gunna run? :doah: nevermind, i just went back and found it! :doah:
