Thanks and yes still need to trim for the 40's.

Having an issue with the brakes, the pedal won't return after it's been depressed until the engine is shut off. Booster failure?

Hydroboost? I had that issue after attempting to rebuild my leaking hydroboost unit. I ended up just buying a new one but I seem to recall reading what the likely problem was. I'll try and find the post if I can.

Negative, I have vacuum brakes

Can't help with the brakes but I can give you backseat fender trimming advice.

I have about 6" of lift and when I ran my buddy's 40's for a winter they rubbed on the rear fender opening. I remember fitting the 40s on his K30 with 4" lift we had to trim the fenders back to the firewall. We even had to beat some of the raised areas of the fire wall flat, the spot where the bolt for the inner fender goes. I don't remember now if that was before or after he moved the axle 1" forward. I want to say it was before and the tire would still contact on a turn until he moved the axle forward 1".

Based on feedback in the other thread I started it sounds like I got a bad booster.

Thanks for the info on the trimming. My 37's would fit in the rear without any trimming so I know I'll need to trim the front and rear of the bedsides. The front my plan was to trim back to the cab as you mentioned. I'll also need to trim up closer to the side marker. That's on the agenda for tomorrow after work along with the hood, tube doors, bed floor bolts, diff/t-case breathers and a few other loose ends.

Yeah, it's funny my 37s never touch the rear fenders, but with the 40s any good bump would cause them to hit.

I picked up a new booster yesterday but ran out of time last night. I'm still noticing that I need to pump the pedal to get front brakes, I did some more bleeding and I'm just not getting a firm pedal unless I pump it a few times.

Stupid question but can someone confirm that the front reservoir on the Master Cylinder is for the rear brakes? See below.

But your lines are crossed. Front line should go to front port.

That's the way I originally had it and was told it was backwards. Right now the front output on the MS is feeding the rear brakes. The rearmost output on the MS is feeding the front brakes.

Are you absolutely sure? It would kinda make sense because the rear brakes are working.

Pretty sure. I don't know what model of valve you have.
But I have plumbed a wilwood before and that's how I did it.
