How much did those cost? I've got the plastic bags the seats came I've been covering them with

Those are especially good to have if you ever trailer your rig.

I can only imagine the mess if you were hauling in weather.

Thats why I bought the covers too! Imagine towing in the rain (western WA) with no trailer fenders and half doors! :haha:

After breakfast the next morning a few of us headed toward the river crossing which was flowing 330 per the online meter. There's a short little trail, maybe a 1/2 mile of some double low wheeling. Hit the bed a couple times and broke another taillight :rotfl: River was flowing too hard to cross safely and we didn't want to ditch the "party" for too long so we headed back to camp.

Saturday morning we ran up to Signal Hill which is usually a pretty awesome lookout point however with half the state on fire we had limited visibility. There was a Blue full vert K5 that came rolling through, he was stoked to see another square so that was cool.

We also ran up to sterling lake with intentions to fish however once we arrived we found ourselves surrounded by yuppies in their volvos and subarus so we headed back down the rocky road to fordyce lake.

We checked the river flow and it was still at 330+ however I was itching for more action so Chris and I split off in our rigs and headed down to the river to see if anyone was crossing. My brother had never been wheeling at all so he rode with me in the truck and we followed Chris in his Yota. As we headed down the trail my brother had an ear to ear grin and just laughed, he now understood why I built the truck. "I can't even walk up that sh*t!" :rotfl: As we came around the corner we saw this.....

They were both fine so I grabbed my tree saver, snatch block and pulled him back over and we continued down to the river

Got to the river and it was moving, more so than the day before. Across the river were a couple Yota's scoping a line to cross, Chris had been across the river dozens of times so he was relaying the preferred line to take. Eventually there was 8 or so rigs lined up to cross, all but one (sucked up water) made it across. Every truck had 40's or bigger and a clean hood, just to give you an idea how deep it was.

I have some video of the crossings that I'll upload.

Looks pretty sketchy to me. Would suck to flop on your side in there. Right about 40 seconds in.

Supposedly a yota did that on Friday. Everyone was ok but in the process the keys fell into the river. Took a few hours but it drove off the trail under its own power.
