Next thrash will be this weekend.

Last few nights I've been stripping all the parts off the old frame and trying to sell/giveaway as much as I can from it before I chop it up.

Yesterday I bought a new booster and master cylinder, I decided I wanted a plastic reservoir from the 85+. Mine has always leaked through the lid which has ate all the paint below :angry1:

Also picked up a few more brake lines and a Wilwood proportioning valve with a built in brake light switch.

Do you guys think I can burn these 1/2" npt steel plugs with a mig? I was going to find someone with a TIG and have them do it but I'd rather do it myself if I can.

and I'll media blast them first....

Should be able to. But if the plug is in there, why weld it?

It's some oddball thread type and plugs aren't readily available from what I've gathered. I/2" NPT screw in (loosely) but they'll leak if they're not welded.

Ah yeah I can see it now. Weld that thing up!

I'll see if I can turn down the wire speed and keep it slow moving.

Cuz I'll take them out when he's not looking. Lol

:shame:
