Kept at it yesterday between a few side projects.

swung by ruffstuff Saturday and grabbed a box of flat trick tabs, gussets and shock tabs. Started with the gas tank skid, welded in a couple 4" dimpled gussets and several other flat tabs and gussets to secure the skid plate with 3/8" flanged bolts.

One thing I didn't think about with the orientation of the tank flipped 180 is the fuel output and return.....I think I'm going to loop some 6AN 180 degrees to the passenger side and then transition to hardline. This will give me some extra hose to work with when I drop the tank in the future.

Since I had a friend stop by to see the progress we went ahead and installed the flexplate, torque converter and married the two. Dropped those bitches right back in where they belong :saweet:

Cracked a beer and enjoyed that moment...

got the torque converter bolted up to the flex plate and the bell housing on. Sealed up the Eco Box halves, installed that and the 205 with RTV between the cases and adapters. Bolted up the JB Fab Eco linkage and the winters trans linkage.

Installed the manifolds, welded up all the exhaust and got that installed. I have wrap for the exhaust that I still need to put on along the trans and probably under the bell housing.

Your goal still blazer bash? I see some body panels in your near future being put on.

Yes, I'm signed up for blazer bash but I expect to have this together and driving well before that.

I want to run fuel and brake lines, paint the firewall and then the cab will go back on.

Solid plan, sounds like you are on the correct path.

Getting a lot done. I feel like you're going to fire your 454 before I get mine fired.
