Bam! Wow! Those turned out awesome.
Cool. Nice ps cooler. Looks familiar. I didnt think of that spot when I mounted mine, but looks like it would work. I do remember reading about making sure its oriented so air cant get trapped in it.
A similar location has worked well for me. I like the cooler low to avoid trapping air. It's not even really in the air flow path, but seems to do well - fluid has never foamed or smelled burned....what do you guys think of this PS cooler location?
If I was starting from scratch I would probably think hard about using the Swepco. Right now I'm use an Amsoil product I read about people using on Pirate4x4.

The Amsoil works fine so I'm going to keep running it. Not worth trying to flush out the whole system, ram included.
Do you have the Amsoil preferred customer membership?
It never takes as much as I think it will. From what I remember 4 to 5 quarts should be plenty. Since I am using an irregular fluid, I try to carry 2 extra quarts for trail emergencies.
On my Amsoil account prices the Swepco would still be 45¢ cheaper. I think in your shoes I would use Swepco since that's what PSC recommends. Less hassle if you have any trouble.
