ordered 5 quarts, should be here tomorrow with some other stuff I needed from summit.

Debating whether or not I want to mount these tires myself
Ugh. Like on the floor with oleo and a rubber mallet?

I've mounted my last 4 sets.
Might pay Miguel next time

I've heard some people have problem with the beads but I haven't the couple times I used them. Any downside to the BB's?

Pellets are better for squirrels btw.

Beads make noise too, those BB's are probably louder on steel though. How many ounces did you run on the new 37's?

I think 5-6 each
I was using my buddy's scale, but I think it was invented before dirt

Either way, I've had it up to 95 without tire vibes. I've done 3 sets of MTRs that way, just didn't get quite enough in some of them. I just buy the 6000 round tub from WaldoMart and fill half of a lid of a spray paint can

I talked to a guy not to long ago about bead balancing. If I remember correct. He told me to mount the tire, spin it & let the tire machine tell you how much weight it needs. Then add the appropriate amount of weight(beads-bb's). It made since to me to put only the amount of weight you need, not more or less.......

One of the old boys that mounts truck tire told me to just toss it in there. If you have too much, it just disperses itself and rebalances

Different strokes

I also don't have a spinny machine

I think I may have plumbed the proportioning valve backwards

The front most MS output is rear brakes? I plumbed it the other way, not sure why but I remember looking into it. It's a 1987-1991 V10 MS and of course nothing is noted on the cardone paperwork.

Here might be a silly question, but why not use traditional wheel weights? How fast do you plan on driving this and to what period of time?
