I had all black Beards in my old truck and I didn't notice the heat so much, but they do look crappy all the time from the dust. Those tan ones should hide it well. 
2" wider, 4" taller.

Rubicon. Last time I was on it I snapped my t-case adapter in half, had to turn around and go home.

What axles and drivetrain? I bet you could get through it. My friend did it in his 86 Toyota on 33s with push pull steering and limited slips

I’ve heard mostly stock vehicles can get through using bypasses and such... it’s just about how much body damage you want to tolerate and how fast you want to get through it.
I had an issue with the engine and trans moving around. When I was coming down into the granite bowl the engine was shifting forward, snapped the foot off the th350/np205 adapter. Front shaft was binding up so @bmxbryant9 towed me out to loon. I drove home the next day while those guys ran from loon through to Tahoe.
