Heading back into the mountains tomorrow AM for a quick overnight camping trip with some friends. Need to do a quick nut and bolt check, top off the fluids and pressure wash some of the PS fluid off the engine so I can continue cooking burritos without PS fluid contamination

Man it’s been 9 years since I took a real wheeling trip
Bombed up the mountain Saturday around 8am barely escaping the heat. Truck drove well other than the trans still likes to get hot on those long pulls up the highway (I have a new theory on this too). It was pretty busy so our normal spots were taken however the lake was full so we found a cool spot down at the end of the lake. After camp was setup we drove up the trail further and tested out some new AR500 targets that I built
Then headed back to camp and hiked up up to the waterfall for some swimming and beers.

Man I would love to have places like that I can drive the rig to. That looks awesome.
it does need more, I wanted to tie the window pillars into the cage but came up short on time. Maybe later.....
oh and I bent the shit out of the dimple plates on the front bumper too.
one of the major reasons why I still live in this State. It was 106+ at home, drive an hour up the hill and it was a high of 80.
