over the weekend I found some free time to work on the ORD doors and get them installed. I ended up with TJ mirrors, I wanted something decent quality, would fold out of the way and that could be easily replaced if I smashed them.

I cut a couple mounting plates with a gusset for each mirror to mount to.

had to cut the old pins out of the hinges and I installed new door strikers while I was at it. Washed the fordyce dust off the truck finally too.

I'm digging the rattle free doors and the new mirrors are a nice upgrade too.

Do you need some "It's a Jeep thing..." stickers for it now?

They're not actually jeep, they just fit on a jeep. That's what I tell myself anyway....

Love it. Good lord I love that truck.

thanks.

Going on our annual man trip in a couple weeks so I have a few other items I would like to get fixed before I go.

Rear driveshaft vibration
NP205 rear output leak
Fix the exhaust downpipe (smashed from front shaft interference)

Clever solution for mirrors, and the doors look great. Clean work as always.

Went camping over the weekend in the Sierra's with a few buddies. Truck performed well, just had the hydro assist clamp come loose and I bent the shit out of a TRE when I somehow manage to split a tree stump in half wedging it between my axle and tie-rod. Took some some time but we eventually ripped the stump out of the ground, got really lucky and didn't bust a hydro line because the stump was up against the steering box where it's tapped.

oh and I fk'n love the new doors, they work great and don't rattle like my old ones.

Oh dang! Your doors don’t rattle, but what about your wheel???? Glad to see you’re using and abusing it! To be completely honest... when I first started watching this build I really didn’t think it would ever get beat on because of how much detail you were putting into it. You are definitely proving that wrong.

I'm not sure what kind of snake it was (no rattles) but it was aggressive and tried to bite me so I left it alone.

I always intended on using the truck and I'm not afraid of body damage but I try to avoid it when I can.

Did you scream like a girl? Lol I can deal with snakes but if that was a spider I would have lit your truck on fire.
