Fordyce Trip Report
I've been trying to minimize the amount of gear I bring on the trail, here you can see what I brought before I strapped it down. All the new tie-down points kept everything in place during the trip, I probably should have packed a gas can and might think twice about a spare maybe in some situations....
and a variety of quality suds in different octane levels
Day 1
The four of us met at Cisco Chevron around 10:30sh to gas up. The four rigs were Dean

@bmxbryant9, myself and Nick (non CK5 member) with a mid 80's yota on 33's. From there we jumped on the highway to the next exit where the Eagles Lakes Trail head was and aired down. While airing down Dean was looking over Nick's Toyota and noticed a small coolant leak on a heater hose so we took the time to fix that before hitting the trail. Our goal for the day was to get to a campsite at the base of winch hill one which was a 5 mile trek.
Weather was beautiful, short sleeve t-shirt and jeans weather during the day with the fall colors starting to show.
and one of the cool things about this trail was the landscape would change from open rocky terrain with beautiful views to dense forest where I couldn't even see rigs 50 yards in front of me.
Mid way through our trip Zak blew a hydro line to his ram and luckily he had field serviceable PSC hydro lines and enough line on the truck so that we could cut, install the fitting and route it differently so it still had enough length. For good measure we had to flex it out and make sure
