84 K20 "Ethel" Not an Sbc/NV4500/241C

Semi restoration of a 1984 K20 pickup. 5.3 LS, nv4500, np241c.
Since someone, who I won't name didn't answer my question,

I guess a diesel has a different mount than a sbc?? The existing mounts have a center hole and the new mounts are riveted in the middle.. I don't care if I have to drill new holes but I am concerned that the mounts are lower in a diesel?? Can anyone speak to this?

Thanks!

Good to know. I was thinking you couldn't use those strut rod with those mounts for some reason.

Of course these are all sorts of opinions about those rods in the first place. Do the 6.2s use them?

Unsure but the k30 I have now doesn't have em. You'd think a 1 ton would be equipped.

All that I can tell you is that I once pulled a diesel and swapped a SB in without changing mounts.

But I will add more B.S. with the fact that my son's '72 , we couldn't use the strut rod plates with the DIY4X crossmember and mounts. '72 if course being different...
