Semi restoration of a 1984 K20 pickup. 5.3 LS, nv4500, np241c.
Painted the grille with plastidip annnd it's not the color I thought it was.. This pic is when it is getting darker out, I might paint silver over it. I hear you can do that?

Well been Mia for a few days, drove out to play trucks with @secutright in Ethel, very early to dodge the heat. Ethel did great, no issues at all. 150 miles and the tank is still half full, drove home in the dark and thanks to @bergerking that light bar sure helps in the middle of the desert at night when it's pitch black.

Figured out how to lock the inertia seat belt retractors manually. So I could strap the boy in.

Went on our first expedition out the gate and he had a blast, thinks it's funny when the bushes hit the mirrors, talked on the CB and just hung out. This is the best part of being a dad. Sharing what I love with him.

So, a couple things here.

First it took me a bit, but I finally read this one. And I am very certain I want one now.

2nd, truck looks really good. Glad to see it found you for a home.

And B, my son laughed very hard about the trees smacking my face and the mirrors. But I'd take a hit to the face with a Blue Spruce any day to hear that laugh!
