Semi restoration of a 1984 K20 pickup. 5.3 LS, nv4500, np241c.
Let’s race... I wanna see how good.. of it breaks a 4l80 goes in..

Depends if we race the Mint!!! 1035 car number. Have you looked at race at the river?
 
Well.. let’s just never recommend doing this bellhousing mod unless you have a mag drill, or a mill on hand..

One bolt was left hanging on.. the rest where no where to be seen. There was minor dings on the pressure plate but nothing to write home about. Otherwise looks and operates totally normal.. I’d chock that up to pure stupid luck..
and yes this is at our new shop.

Throw some bolts in the fubarred holes with red Loctite and cut them off flush. Get a new NV4500 bellhousing and you are good to go again.

We’re in Irvine and have @jkroberts teaming up with us and he’s full time doin pretty much anything that you can think of, engine swaps, wiring, axles, suspension etc.
engine mods etc is through Roberts Custom Trucks and for suspension stuff Fortify Offroad is who it’ll run through. Both under the same roof.
