'84 K5 Build (Midlife Crisis)

I guess a 1" spacer is better than nothing. I keep forgetting you have a 60 going in, so that will help, but you might end up needed both to collapse the shaft enough.

Here is the only good picture I have. Lol
On the phone you can zoom in.
This is at shit your pants ride height, rest, maybe droop?
Hahahahahahahaha

Haha, I remember when you posted that after it happened. I’d be pulling seat cushion outta my ass crack. Lol

I ordered that spacer, should be here Wed.
This morning I ran a new vacuum hose for the hvac controls and connected the a/c hoses. Also installed my 4awg charging cable I forgot after the swap.
I’m gonna think about bumpstop extentions next.

Your trucks engine sounds good. I wish my trucks engine would do the same. My trucks engine makes the same noise like it is going somewhere, but all it does is still very slowly gain speed.

Thanks. It needs to run good. Lord knows I have way to much money in it. This was/is the last engine I plan on building. Crate engines are cheaper, easier and can be had with just as much power as you want nowadays.

I dunno if they are cheaper, but I'm pretty happy with the one I put in mine

I also dint check the "sluggo" box when ordering

So, I picked up some bigger sd cards for my gopro.
I wanted to be able to just turn it on and record each day at BB and not worry about running out/ having to switch cards.

I realized last night I don’t have anything big enough to tie down my rig on the trailer I’m borrowing so I got this coming.

You'll want to make sure the gopro will recognize the larger cards. Some of the earlier ones may not see anything larger than 32gig. Also, as I've found even on a full charge, I've been getting 5-6 hours of power to record. I've got a cord that reaches my go pro on the mirror though so I just tend to leave it plugged in.

Thanks, I did my research before I purchased. I had heard the same thing. I put it in and formatted it no issues. It says I have 8hrs. and 11 mins at 1080p 60fps. The dang cord that comes with the camera is so short, I had to get a longer one to reach my plug.

Cool beans. Looking forward to the footage.
I’m looking forward to seeing it in person. Never been to Moab or any out of town wheeling trip. All my off-roading has been in Nevada basically. Hell, even back when I was a kid racing dirt bikes it was always Nevada. Haha.
