'84 K5 Build (Midlife Crisis)

sorry, for some reason my post was duplicated so I deleted one but they both deleted :doah:

anyway, I was saying that those retractable belts are going to lock all the time (off camber/bumpy terrain etc.) anyway so whats the point of having them? I use my lap belt only on light trail riding and most rock crawling and with the tube doors and bigger tj mirrors I can see fine. If it's a sketchy obstacle I'll use my shoulder belts and in that situation I usually have a spotter anyway. Most of the time we're driving by braille anyway, a retractable belt isn't going to change that.
Good points

I have the PRP 4.3's in my k5. I never once have wanted them to come loose. I have seat sliders so I just slide the seat back to loosen the harnesses. I am vertically challenged though.

I spy "Hubs" lol

I'd like to check out that Ramcharger, it looks cool.

Most trucks could never do what your truck did in this climb without ripping an axle or driveshaft out of their rig. I know my Crew Cab would. Was @muddysub there at the bump n hump with his Toy?
Thanks, that’s my goal. I want it to stay together even when I beat on it a little. No, he is still buttoning it up.
