84 k5 CTD

Yeah I feel like supersize75k5 with the driveway of despair and repair:doah: I really like that statement.
Even if the buggy was ready to go I have 2 k30s being parted in back of it and can't get it out anyway. I really need to stop dicking around with parting out trucks and just build my stuff.
I'm also working on my garden, remodeling my pool area and wanting to rebuild all my decks on the house so I seriously doubt the k5 will even get touched this year:dunno:

well just spent 25 dollars so i could see my own pictures haha.
I'm ready to get back on this project and needed to re familiarize myself with it.
the last four years have been hell to say the least. i went through a divorce in 12 due to drugs and alcohol abuse and was paying almost 4k a month in child support, alimony and daycare. went from a paid for house to living in a apartment and ....... so on anyway last year my x finally gave in to the drugs and alcohol abuse and took the easy way out. I was married to her for 22 years and not a day goes by that i don't miss her but couldn't live that way anymore. so now i have all my kids, bought another house and am starting over at the age of 51. The x blew through around 350k since the divorce partying so the kids don't have any inheritance really and she got married in Vegas 6 days prior to her death in Vegas to a heroin addict so I've spent the last year fighting him in court (12k) for my kids sake only to find out she spent it all. well that's enough of that.

I bought a 14 f150 last year and took it fishing and hunting this year only to find out it drags bottom on everything so i need to get this thing ready for next year and will be documenting it here.

Sorry about the struggles.

Sub'd for updates...

Welcome back! Sounds like a rough go but it seems you have your head on straight! Onward and upward!

I didn't know David so sorry.

I'll be at Keith's house tomorrow building a cage come on up and say hi.

Glad to see you back

Wow, what a decimating turn of events, glad you're on the other side of it now
Welcome back brother, always excited to see a CTD swap happening!

eric i have to work this weekend but thanks.
keith there was never any fear of me going anywhere! lol

it will be slow going but i hope to have it running and on the road before next spring.

Good work man!! this is the sickest thread i've seen on here. I have a 05 dodge ctd that runs low 11's on 35's and i've always wanted to do this to my k5. This is some good inspiration to just do it. thanks for posting.

thanks guys. and yes on the build party at some point but right now i'm trying to get everything all in one place and figure out where i'm at on it. this project has been moved 3 times and parts are scattered everywhere but hopefully not lost. I also have my secret weapon Mitch! a buddy of mine that is a good guy and can fix anything.

Can't tell, is it a 1/2 ton?

its a 3/4 ton 4x4 that someone pulled the t-case and put in a 2wd tranny but still has the front 10 bolt front. i'm hoping it's a 700r4 that i can use later for another project. also truck use to be a manual. it's an interesting truck but will be good to have for parts while working on the k5.
