'84 SWB build - Riverbilly Beater

Cool build! Wish I had free time, seems like work work work and family! But blessed with great wife, job, roof over my head and a awesome baby girl that is above average in all areas (just turned 2 and is 3 foot tall,32 lbs, smart as can be say up there with 4yr olds!). So can't complain I guess. I will keep eye on this build.

Thanks man! I wish I had more time to work on this too. Oilfield has been busy here lately so I have one 4 day weekend a month to work on it

Cool let me know....aluminum trim behind cab if you are removing that too...atleast the GMC corners.

Well, didn't get a whole lot done Monday and Tuesday when I was on days off, I did buy a 8000lb warn winch for 50$ from a friend so I'm gonna fab up a mount next weekend and probably build a front bumper.

I also go some of the cracks in the frame cleaned up and ready to weld and patch, then box the frame. Got some pipe to build crossmembers and also got all my parts in

I would take you up on that in a heartbeat if you weren't 8 hours away.

The step bumpers are almost impossible to find here, and when you do the person with it won't sell it for less than $150.

Pulled my brake drums to convert to disc. When I got this truck it has been up and down the river for years, should have expected the sand but not the damage to the spindle so I guess it's looking for a new housing haha
