Has anyone purchased a replacement rubber floor for thier's? Just curious who sells them and if they're good or not. Mine is tore up, and I'd rather not replace it with carpet.

i wish my grille wasn't painted, like yours... but then you'd see all the super glue holding mine together :doah:

My grill is toast. I know of one better at a salvage yard I'm gonna try getting later this week. As for the truck it has a really long ways to go, but thanks.

Id kill for a square in a salvage yard around here. I live vicariously through everyone else's junkyard finds. I really like seeing them in actual worn shape though, and brought back to life without piles of money, and perfect donors. The rust eats everything where i am too, so ill definitely be watching this thread and seeing it brought back to life. its taken me 2 years to get mine lifted and the cab rust taken care of. still have tailpan and what not to do. takes time when you can't just throw money at them. but in my eyes thats when you appreciate it the most;

For sure. I want to get it all done asap, but it just won't work that way for me. A little at a time. I'd say in the next few weeks I should be making some decent improvements. I'm ready to drive the thing, but as for now it's not road worthy yet.

  1. A few more lil fixes done this afternoon. Before I got the truck back someone broke the passenger wing window out and broke the ignition switch in attempt to jack the truck. Even though the back window doesn't latch. Just goes to show thieves are stupid. So more goodies off the parts rig. Wing window, trim above the door, and the correct window crank. My side mirror is cracked but the one on the parts rig was worse. I need to pull the tint off the new wing window glass, but that will be another day.

Hey, you just reminded me. Do you, or any of the other NE guys have a LH door window you would want to sell? I need one in a bad way.

I don't. The windows on the parts rig were broke out other than that wing window and the back slider glass. Marty already took dibs on the back slider.

I was thinking it'd be a few weeks before I'd get the lift and tires on, but I'm going to bust ass this weekend and hopefully get it done. I'd like to have all that I want done "for now" to be finished sometime in June. I'm ready to drive the damn thing.
