'85 K5 Turbo Diesel

Finally got the front seats mounted in today. Friday welded up the crack in the transfer case crossmember and bolted up the new energy suspension poly mount.

Finally got the stupid temp gauge working yesterday. After screwing with the cold advance plug, googled it and found that the one for the gauge is on the other side of the engine. We had it plugged into the front glowplug and the glowplug wire hooked into the sensor. Swapped them, fixed a wire that was seperating and now I finally know that I am not overheating. Sits right at 180 and doesn't go a degree over. Even fixed my rear window not rolling down yesterday, we saw there was something unplugged back by the firewall, plugged the two wires back together, followed them back and figured they went to my window, tried the window and now it works. Good day.:D

Today I have to put on a new front u joint today because we lost part of it when fixing the transfer case seal. I'll need to lock it in this weekend because I am using it to tow my quads to the sand this weekend.

By the way, those seats are 100% worth it and 100x better than the stock ones.

If you dont mind, what did you pay for them? I want the same seats and Im trying to figure out what there going for?

Thats the price Im looking for. Did the rear seat fit the Blazer?

I haven't mounted them yet, but they fit, it has to be the third row seat. You'll need I fabricate new brackets, or there is a store on eBay that sells brackets that can mount into anything.

Just curious if you mounted the rear seats yet? I really like what you have done so far.

No, seats never got mounted. Back in November I was towing my quads out to the dunes and white smoke started pouring into the cab through the window. I pulled over, popped the hood, no smoke, everything looked fine. I hopped back into the truck thinking somehow a bunch of diesel had shat through or something. Then I think to look under the truck and hop out and check, and there is ATF pouring out of my transfer case. Luckily I had only gone 5-10 miles so I limped it back home, hooked the trailer to my 4runner and went to the dunes for a couple days. I was pissed all weekend about the blazer and I started thinking about Cummins. I ended up buying a 2006 Dodge Megacab with the 5.9 Cummins a few days later. Blazer sold a month or two later on Craigslist. Sad I didn't get to finish all my plans with it, but I have not regretted it for a second, the Cummins is just awesome. Maybe someday when I have more room and time ill get another Blazer as a purely Offroad truck.
