'85 on big tars.(pics & video)

unless you upgrade the turbo, spooling past 30-35 is just pushing outside of the turbos efficient range, essentially just cooking the air before its getting pushed in the engine.
Drivers side water line is on for the most part. Goes from the engine bay all the way back to the bed. Just gotta decide how to make the transition from outside the frame to the inside and make a crossover at some point. Might be able to finish this one up today.
The a pillar bars are finally tied back in to the rest of the cage. Was an interesting chore. In the end a bunch of W.A.G. got the job done on the first one and the second was patterned after it. Can't say enough about keeping tube work as symmetrical as possible from one side of the truck to the other. It's so helpful when you can design one tube and mirror it to the other side with no measuring needed.
In the interior of the cab, all that remains is a camera and monitor mount. We'll eventually have 3 CC cameras mounted on the rig. One is a basic review mirror type setup and the other 2 will be down in the chassis facing forward and rearward. Pretty close to some paint and bedliner here.
The big news for the rig is its about time to do some flexing and checking out shock mount and bump stop locations for interference. I don't expect to see any but its gotta be checked. We're really close to pulling the bed off and doing some finish work. That'll be a red letter day!!!

Nice! I like the camera idea too!
Couple shots of how the water lines have shaped up. Pretty much finished. Need some welding which i'll do when the body comes off. Few hoses and some clamps and we're off to the races.
I tried pretty hard to make the last of the water lines out of aluminum but in the end, it just won't bend sharp enough. There are some advantages offered by either material so its not a loss. Just a different route.

Such a cool rig. 
Got it out and got some twisting done.
Front bumpstops were to low and causing us to give up some shock travel. Other than that, things look pretty good. Gona need a bump stop in the rear and possibly a limit strap as well.

That front end is DOPE!!!
We got the front bumptstops adjusted today.
After that we got the aluminum PTO covers installed but forgot to take a picture of that.
Up till today, the fuel tank could not be removed. We corrected that. The tubing directly above the tank was one solid piece. It was split and some flanges were put in place.
Then we worked on the monitor mount for the onboard cameras. Basically occupying the rear view mirror space.

Thanks! Brett and I have many hours into the front end. The aluminum work was very tedious.
The big project coming up is the inter cooler. Probably not needed to make it run but we need to finish it off so we can start addressing the finish work. We have an idea of how we want to do the intercooler just need to do some research on CFM's of some different fans. After that, its really just connections, fuel lines, some wiring and so on.
I think at this point we can pull the bed off. There are a few projects to do as things are stripped off, then the painting for the bed can begin. No need to start that to early though. The shop is a harsh environment for shiny things.
Deere had an option that was in the 30 pin range but they were money, well over one hundred for just the body's, and there were only 3 in the country.
The newer style connectors from both companies would work but $$ again and then the tools for install were different from weather pack, so again not a good option.

I have a chubby! Sorry. I love it, lots of work left I can see. Looking killer!!!! I need those cameras and monitor. That's on my to do list. I can't see crap!!!! What shocks are those? Are they just for mock up or is he going to upgrade them a bit. You have the bumps set perfect!
