Brett has an aluminum fuel tank we built a long time ago. Just needs to be cleaned up when the install time comes. Gotten pretty nasty, sitting around for so long.

Yep, watched it. I thought this weeks episode was a little flat.

Nice job on the brake lines...and everything else! :waytogo:

Do cutting brakes work good with lockers in the rear ends?

Pressing forward with a lot of paint work.

Tomorrow we should have the inside of the cab, tube work and walls painted. Then we can get some bedliner in on the floor.

Things seem to be moving pretty fast right now.

I think we ended up with 3 good solid coats on the back half frame. Alot of smaller bracketry pieces have been coated as well.

Moving on to the front we needed to get the grille built before we can pull the cab and front tube work.

Then we needed to turn it around in the shop so we had to pull it outside and take it for a walk. Better lighting so we grabbed a couple shots of the interior paint.

Hopefully tomorrow we will pull the cab and front tube work. This opens up alot of opportunity to knock down the list.

I like the grill! :waytogo: I hope we can see this bad boy at Blazer Bash. Join the ranks of the 14ers!

looks like the hammered turnout out pretty good. I have found a few missed spots after painting my chassis and have touched them up with some rattle can.

Yep, it did turn out pretty good. Can't complain. I got a couple spots to touch up as well. Nothing major though.

really looking good Kert!

where did you get inspiration for the grille slats?
reminds me of some 30's and 40's cars.

Ya know, I had a picture in my head. I know its close to some vehicles that are out there but I don't have any idea what ones.

what's that 60 going in?

That's going in the crew cab. I'll finally be able to have a front driveshaft again.

And we got the cab off today. For reference, my brother is about 6'.

Got the grille painted and some other small stuff. Started cleaning up the fuel tank. Didn't get a whole lot done.
