Horrible start, I tell you what I'll save you the trouble of hauling it to the dump I'll be there to pick it up in a few days...........

LOL, JK looks like a good start . Cut the fenders, and throw some Hummer 37's on there !!

Sweet job Brad! I've seen that one several times on Craigslist and even drove by a few months ago and looked at it in the parking lot. Glad you picked it up. Congrats on your new adventure!

yeah he had it listed all summer, and had it listed with 5.13s, WTF???

the previous owner had all the work done, and this guy goes to Air Force and is leaving town soon and he was ready to move it.

He said he got he only got a few calls on it in 5 months.

Nice guy tho, but im pumped, wish i could leave work and go work on it.

Well little progress tonight. Got a little behind cuz had to Do a heater core in wifes suburban and replace some hoses. Did heater core and hoses in an hour.

Well on to this one. Ripped all the gear vendor wiring, switches and little control box. The previous owner pop riveted module high on the inner kick panel. What a pain in the ass.

Also removed an ancient brake controller and the hard line ran to it. Another pain in ass.

Fixed some vacuum leaks and cleaned up some wiring.

Now on to power windows and oil cooler lines. Taking care of little Crap before I start on the fun stuff.

Sorry man, keeping it for my K30.

I never owned one before and really like how it worked driving this suburban around.

Now I need to figure out what to do for now til I decide what to do on the tcase side of things. The new ORD 241/205 is sounding real interesting and doable now

Yeah thanks.

Well just got my 4-6inch ORD brake likes and steering box repair plates

If anyone is in the market for longer brake lines these sure aRe nice. I kind of wish I would have went with the 8 inch or longer lines because these 52 inch springs may flex out more than a 6 inch line. But oh well.

Right now this burban frame has no box problems but since the box is coming off anyway I'm just going to add the plates.

Hey quick question,
For those who have done the upper king pin rebuild on a D 60

Where do you guys find the kit or parts for it?

I have the 205 that is in my jimmy right now I will be pulling, when I do my doubler. Its twin sticked already. Hollar if you want to take a look at it. Since I haven't started dismantling it can be driven too.

hmmm,

What trans are you running now.

as of now im unsure what Tcase, or what direction

I like the new 241/205 combo, but it will be summer before ill have the $$$ for that end of it.

I just picked up the tail housing for the 208 so I can get the gear vendor out of it and get a driveshaft in the burb to keep it mobile.

Are you talking the upper kingpin itself, Or just the spring and bushing?

If so, I would look at rockauto.com

Hmm, didnt think of them,
I havent pulled apart yet, but the spring and bushing, I hope the pin is not worn, but rather gathering parts before i start the front end
