'86 Jimmy 4in Lift, 40’s, tons, 8.1 Swap- 700r4 said PNNNNN

This is not a dedicated trail rig, but does trailer to the destination usually. I am currently in the planning phase of doing a 52/56" spring swap, and getting back to being more road worthy.
Picture time!!!!!!

I finally have some time to sit down and get some wheelin picks on here. I will post a little about what upgrades I was working with, and what vehicles are seen.:waytogo:

Tuttle Creek

2x time out with the 37's and 3/4 tons, open diffs, and not x-over steering.
Along side me is my buddy and his Cherokee on 38.5's and stock axles:haha:
And for some reason to this day we cannot figure out why he never broke them.

This same ledge broke my LH stub. Inexperience and too much air is to blame there.

Tuttle Creek Sept. 2013

Flash forward a year to almost how she sits now. The only thing really missing is the high steer. As for my buddies Cherokee his went through a lot of changes. Too many to list but I will give a few: 3/4 ton full widths, 39.5 iroks, 4.88 gears, locked front/rear, hydro-assist.

Back to the build thread...

Found a Dana 44 mini spool for $20 on pirate, so I decided the try and blow the axle up as bad as I can. Why just go half a$$? :D

Going to try and put it in this weekend. Also see about doing some inner seals while the carrier is out.
