'86 Jimmy 4in Lift, 40’s, tons, 8.1 Swap- 700r4 said PNNNNN

This is not a dedicated trail rig, but does trailer to the destination usually. I am currently in the planning phase of doing a 52/56" spring swap, and getting back to being more road worthy.
Worked in the garage a bit tonight. Threw the correct TB on and ran a few more plugs. Got a lot of the wiring ran in the correct route. Should have all my sensors Saturday, so that’s next on the list. Then finish wiring, and running new power wires for the stand alone fuse block.

Wife mad me angry so I went back out to the garage to work and cool off. Got a few more sensors installed and hooked up the factory coolant gauge.

Cool temp sensor for the ECU

Temp sensor for the factory gauge. The plug came right out. Super easy. Also nice having the new wiring from classic industries.

Still waiting on the plug for the oil sender, and the correct cam sensor. Those will be the Saturday morning project.

Nice!

As you can see from my marked up photo of yours, this is the location I had to move my driver knock sensor to (and it was a different part number cause that threaded whole is a different size than the normal one yours is in) because I did headers. When using manifolds, you don't have to do it. Just FYI really

And I'm glad your coolant plug came out easy. So did mine on my motor. I have ready many stories of guys that they didn't come out at all and they had to drill them out

Just had a guy on facebook who's plug broke off, and had to drill it. That would suck.

Make sure you stomp around the house with muddy boots today as soon as you get home.

It's funny I always get a lot more done when my wife pisses me off but I would rather spend the time with her if she can be a little more reasonable sometimes. :dunno:

Spent a little time under the truck this afternoon. Mounted the TAC module for the throttle. Reused some existing holes in the firewall.

Still having trouble figuring out where the wires route around the engine, but still making progress.
