Hmm, you might have to do some work to regain some of the "flex" you lost![]()
If a trip pans out, I've got that 35" spare for you too![]()
, so here are a few of the tank mounts pics for you. It is mounted to the bed itself, by the factory straps that attach to brackets I made from left over square tube. It sits between and against two 3/16's 3 or 4" wide pieces of brake bent plate. It sits approx 4-5" higher then it would in a K5, instead of the tank middle seam sitting against the bottom of the lower frame rail mine sits on the bottom of the upper frame rail.

I love this rig by the way. Pretty much what I invision my truck to look like someday.![]()
Don't you dare lose your box sides!

lol I knew you'd have an opinion on this.
My bed is getting beat to **** really fast. I think one of these "trail beds" would best suit me. That is unless I can find a good deal on a decent short box.
The more I look at this rig, I just want it!
Any updates on this thing by the way?
) the trail bed really works great for it's intended use. Wheeling on tighter trails or just in trees in general it rocks. When making a tight turn between trees I more or less get the cab past then just cut it hard and let the bed rub the tree, give it some skinny pedal and the truck just pivots around

Thanks for the compliments![]()
As much as I love the look of a factory square body bed (your rig is one of my favorites, best calendar cover shot ever) the trail bed really works great for it's intended use. Wheeling on tighter trails or just in trees in general it rocks. When making a tight turn between trees I more or less get the cab past then just cut it hard and let the bed rub the tree, give it some skinny pedal and the truck just pivots around

As far as updates .....nothing right now, I've got a few sticks of DOM at the shop, and hope to pick up a winch in the near future. Lately I've been focusing on my dads Willys wagon, but hopefully I'll find some time to give the 30 some love![]()

everywhere we go he's always pointing out random people checking it out. Jacob- "Dad, look, those kids are looking at Sarg (his name for the rig), Dad, look that guy is checking us out too !".
Josh, Mines almost together to head out wheelin so get yours done! Brandon's new jeep is still together so we are planning a run in march.
