86 K5 - Suggestions on replacement parts?

Driver side pan after carpet removal.

Passenger side not AS bad...


The metal behind the B Pillar that connects the side to the floor is basically gone on both sides. I'm assuming I'll have to make those areas myself.

Guess I'll finally buy a welder too. Probably springtime. I'll gladly take 120/240v welder suggestions. I've looked at a few but haven't pulled the trigger. I"ve got a gas supplier 5 minutes from the house that also sells Miller welders so I may stop in there. Tractor supply sells Hobart. Not sure where the closest Lincoln is.

I got a Lincoln ez140, it works but if I was to do it over I wouldn't get "ez" version. It only has 4 heat settings, I have found I would like more adjustment.
That said I am no welder I only play one on tv

I thought Miller and Hobart were the same except for the badging and price. Maybe I’m thinking of some other brands though.
