it's been -20 degrees around here at night lately and the other morning I went outside to open the rear barn doors on my burb and the button was stuck, so I pushed REALLY hard and something popped and it freed up.....only now there isn't any pressure at all on the button and nothing is happening!

Am I going to have to open this thing by tearing it open and pulling it apart from the inside? Or is there a secret way of opening it from the inside? I really don't want to have to tear it all apart........

You have to remove the inner panel to get access to the latch mechanism, then reach up and pull on the latch. The door should pop open.

If the black knob is still there, you're going to have to dissasemble from the inside.
If the knob came out, you can push on the lever with a phillips screwdriver and the latch will release; ask me how I know, lol.

I pulled it apart from the inside and had to unlock it....I think the key/lock mechanism is just spinning. As soon as pulled the inner panel off I was able to pull up on the lever to unlock and was able to use the button. when it locks it moves the pieces out of the way for the button. As soon as it's unlocked it moves it back into place for the button to work!:doah:

I'm going to leave it unlocked for now and see if I can take it apart when it's warmer......
