Now that's what I'd call a good start to a new project! Good score man!

It looks clean. Fresh paint i assume? Putting on a flat bed? Congrats on the new rig.

Nice!!! Just don't cut those fenders if they're rust free please:eek: Sell/trade to somebody with some that can be cut without feeling bad:bow:

I feel like Adam right now :haha:

the rear bumper looks like a rice rocket spoiler in some of the first pictures :)

I'm sure rear end work is a whole lot easier without some body hanging over everything.

Nice score. Would you divulge the price$$ ??

ha, yeah eventually the bumper is gonna go, and it was definitely easier with the bed off! i paid $2900 for the truck, guy originally wanted $3500

Might I steer you towards ditching the saddles and putting a blazer tank in that beotch?

as the build progresses i was gonna bring up the subject of the saddle tanks. pros/cons? i like having dual tanks but they're obviously vulnerable and seem like it would be difficult armoring em up

Dual tank setup is more stuff to break, low hanging. If both tanks arent equally filled the truck has a serious weight load on on side vs the other, and the list goes on.

Blazer tank is 33 gallons I believe. And a burban tank is even more. Tucked up in the from out of the way. Much better setup

I was pretty sure my tank is a 21 gal. Otherwise ive been filling it much too soon :haha:

Idk when I bought my tank for my k10 it was for a TBI 87 blazer. pretty sure they asked me if its was a 33 or 31 gallon so I just took the bigger one. That was only 4 years ago though.

That tank hangs down in the back then. I don't see it as much of an upgrade.

Martin

because it's above the axle and between the frame rails. Plus he has to make the mounts, so he can tuck it up and shield it however he likes. I say, blazer tank it. :)
