87 K30 Buildup

I didnt expect this thread to go like this, but i think i have a solution.
Every one take a turn and sit in the naty light throne and drink a beer. It made me smile.

I guess you are right, I will go back to my sewing circle, young man.

Keep Cutting her Dunleavy, I LOVE it!

I didn't expect it to go south either. You're cool in my book. The pic made me laugh, too. :D

D, he's just mad that someone disagreed with him. He'll get over it.

For now, I will be "watching my back", so I will have to follow your buildup by looking over my should at a mirror and typing on the computer backwards.

I am beside myself with grief, that I have to watch my back, feels like I am back in junior high, and somehow it is 1985 again! Wheww!

It looks reat D!

May I be the first to set at your Natty Throne?

I am? I will? You're so full of yourself. Where's the *jackoff* smilie, Manny?

17,000 post full of nothing, at least 99% of my posts actually say something and aren't spent for the sake of it.

I am glad you are PROUD computer "person" that qualifies his worthiness on a website by his post count. That is laughable.

This is my last post on the subject, it is yours?

I am going back to watching my virtual back, if you will?

BTW, how DOES someone watch their back on the internet?

Rather than be an ass and clutter this thread with your constant ramblings of others "faults", why not take it to PM's? That is, if you're man enough to....

I was wondering the same thing.

That gladiator that Kert has would look great on there with a stinger.......:wink1:

Bobby and Wes, why not just leave the guy alone? So he found a truck you both have been looking for and decided to build it...what of it? I'm more surprised the orginal poster didn't tell both you guys to piss off already.

This is as stupid as the "K5 abuse" video I was supposed to get all emo while watching.

Rene

Hey nice beer cooler too. where you work?
I always dreamed of the ultimate K. you got it, build it how you like.
Just keep posting.

:haha: :haha: :haha:

I agree with Rene, but I will add that there was no reason for 54inches to come out bashing like he did. Up until that point, the discussion had maintained a respectful tone...........

I was planning on building a bumper out of tube once i found some cheaper. I got some scrap steel the other day to make the winch mount of, but $4.09 a foot is the cheapest tube i have found so far, may be the best around, ill keep looking. Ill be mounting the winch this weekend if things go to plan and building the bumper around it later, hopefully soon...already been pulled over by the police once for not having one.
I cant find pictures of what i really want it to look like, and even if i could, i cant promise it would come out looking like that anyway. In my head its a mix of a few i have seen, nothing real big, just enough to hold the winch and a few anchor points.

The way i figure it, assuming everything weighs about the same as water...
22cases x 24 cans/case x 12 ounces/can x 1gal/128ounces x 8.34lbs/gal = 412 lbs of beer.

42 handles liquor and mixers x 1.75 liters/handle x 1 gal/3.78 liters x 8.34lbs/gal = 162 lbs liquor & mixer

60, 2 liters x 2 liters/bottle x 1 gal/3.78 liters x 8.34lbs/gal = 264 lbs of coke

8 gallons of juice x 8.34lbs.gal = 67 lbs

Total weight = 905 lbs of fun

Should make for a fun night.

Talk about a beer run!! :eek1:

Don't listen to these HATERS. Cut it and FK it up. It's yours. It's not like you lowered it, but then again if you had, you probably would not be hanging out here and going to the store for NattyLight!

His truck is not that RARE (a word thrown around WAY too much due to the ebay generation), it's not like it is a ZL1 Camaro, or a Vert Chevelle with a BB! Jeez give the man a break!

OK, OK maybe I should have just posted this, or just added one o these: :D

WOW people are touchy.:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

AS far as the bumper goes, I agree the price of steel is out of this world, it is almost cheaper to buy one already built, ALMOST.

Smiley or not, referring to someone who is respectfully sharing their opinion as a "suck arse" several times in one thread is WAY more Pirate-like than anything anyone else said. Walk the walk, my friend........:deal:

Anyhow, let's carry on with the truck pics!!! :thumb:

Another exhaust work picture.
n12812172_31946663_141.jpg

It was a weird set up we had running to weld up the exhaust. No 220 in my place here in the city, had to run the MIG off my welder/generator in the bed of my DD.

Picture of my truck and my buddies super duty up at the farm cleaning up the trucks. If you look at the first picture of the truck on 37s that i posted in the first post you can see that the front paint was pretty faded, put some nu-finish on it and then waxed it, made it shine again and it still looks good now.

Original spring pack

What is is now, about half of before.

And for those that are not following the build on pirate, these are the pictures from that jeep that went over the edge up in the mountains. Luckily they hit a tree and didnt go all the way down. Only the passenger was injured, but he had to go to the hospital. Driver said that it happened about 2 in the morning, i was there about 3 the next afternoon, a 2007 1/2 chevy was trying to pull him back up, it wasnt working too well. A winch pull and some jerking with the tow strap and he was out.
Jeep when i got there. Hard to tell the drop cause the brush is thick, but behind those trees is probably a hundred foot drop, they got pretty lucky.

At this time the exhaust had just fallen off the passenger side and i had cut the drivers side so that the engine was not running funny, this day in the mountains was open manifolds. Needless to say it was incredibly loud, but while i was pulling the jeep out and the BB was screaming, it had to make everyone there smile, and cover their ears.

Nice build. Cut it, scratch it, bang it. Looks a little familiar. My 87 started as a half ton though. Frames been repaired too many times

Funny Your getting a hard time for building it in to wheeler. If you didn't have it, it would probably end up a work truck and get thrashed any ways.
