I like questions....
A - all the weight of the cab is on that support, with no sag.. even with no bolt in the bodymount, perfectly level.. that 16" x 2 x 4 effectively replaces the stock stamped sheetmetal, 3 sided support under the factory sheetmetal..
B - and yeah, the whole floor will be tied into those.. it's the basis... the floor will sit right on the top of the supports..
the rise for the cargo area, floor will come straight up from the back edge of the rear support... well actually it'll start from the bottom of the support, and be plug welded to the backside of the support.. the floor will be plugwelded to the top of the support, similar to the construction I did in the back...
like this..
as you can see, the floor level will be maintained across the door area... the inner rocker will form this wall... so it'll look like this with the door open...
I want it this way for easy fab, and easy rinse out of the truck.. I will cut the stock door weatherstripping so it doesn't go across the bottom, and supplement it with a bottom piece on the door...
the front floor lines will look something like this.....
C - boy, they're tasty!

it's been my chugging replacement beer for Bud for about 12 yrs now... I just sometimes forget they're about twice as potent... I'm actually glad to be back drinking beers, work has gotten soooooo bad, I had probably gone thru 20 gallons of bourbon the last 6 months... had to cut back on that, it was getting out of control...
